Who are the 'Friends of St Edward's'?

The Friends are a registered charity run by volunteers to support St Edward’s Catholic First School by promoting our school community through social events and family participation, and raising funds that provide essential revenue for school equipment, learning opportunities, and treats.

As the parent or carer of a child at St Edward’s First School, you are automatically a member of The Friends.

An elected committee meets every term. All parents, caregivers, and teachers are welcome to attend. Meeting dates are circulated via email to all parents and teachers, and also appear on the calendar on the Friends and School websites.

Ways to get involved

What better way to meet other parents than to get involved in the fun events we hold throughout the year?

We are a very active committee, and there’s always fundraising activity in the pipeline. You are warmly invited to get involved by attending meetings, suggesting new ideas, and helping out at events- or perhaps you have a skill or talent we haven’t even thought of yet!

Whilst many of us are working parents, and it can be challenging to commit additional time to school activities, any help is appreciated. If you feel you would like to get involved and volunteer, you can do so as little or as much as you can manage. All help is welcome!

Online Shopping

If you shop online, please sign up to Easyfundraising to support St Edward's Catholic First School, Windsor.
